The Scriptures say our life is like a vapour. I just received news that one of our members here at GMT, Jolita Farley, was in a head on collision this morning and passed away.

Jolita lived in the US and attended the church my parents attend. She was supposed to be here visiting her close friend, Kez (RoSeZ), at this time, but canceled the trip due to some health problems her father was having. Please be in prayer for her friends and family at this time.

On behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Farley (Jolita's parents) and myself, I would like to thank you all for your continued prayers at this very difficult time. Jolita's funeral is tomorrow at around 10:30am (US-PA) and I would like to request in particular prayer for this time as many of Jolita's unsaved family, schoolmates, theatre costars and friends will be attending and this is a great opportunity for God's gift of salvation to be shared to those who might not otherwise be exposed to it. Please pray that God will be glorified in every aspect of this time. (Eph 1:6)

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4

Thank you for your prayers for Jolita's funeral. By all reports, the funeral was a real blessing to everyone who attended and the Gospel was able to be presented very clearly. Since then, seven of her unsaved friends (five from her WO theatre group) who attended the funeral have contacted Mr and Mrs Farley and myself to share the news of their salvation. To the praise of God's glorious grace...
Thank you once again for your prayers.
