My personal profile settings don't seem to be updating when I change them.

Please provide steps to replicate this problem (what you click on to get there for example). There are a couple of places to update your profile and I need to know which one. It would also be great if you list what browser you're using at the time.

What page were you making the changes from? Give me a link to it.

Also too I can't reply to the NBF forum. It says I don't have permission.

I just fixed the NBF issue, sorry about that!

Try modifying your profile like so:

1. Click on your name at the top of the page
2. Click on the last tab in the page that comes up (called "settings")
3. Try changing your details from this page

Let me know if that doesn't fix it, should work from there though.

My profile says I've only made 62 posts, but I've made heaps more than that and it won't go up. It's said 62 for ages.

Can I still get promoted to 'dedicated member' even if this number doesn't go up? :crying:

Don't you just love these annoying members with petty requests? :)

Posts in "The Hangout" don't count towards your total number of posts. We might change this in time, but until then the number will only go up when you post outside that forum :)

Oh, ok, thanks :)

So, "dedicated member" indicates a member devoted to the more serious side of GMT, right?

Perhaps there is a hidden incentive here to contribute more meaningfully to GMT :p

Thanks and keep up the good work.
